Meghan gets a cheeky royal nod in latest series of Suits
Before she officially became the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan found fame playing Rachel Zane in hit US legal drama Suits.
The Duchess of Sussex may have left her acting days behind
her, but she still got a cheeky nod in the latest series of her former
TV show.
Meghan, 38, found fame as paralegal Rachel Zane in hit US legal drama Suits, starring in the show from its launch in 2011 to her final episode in 2018.
She retired from acting after announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, and became an official royal following their wedding last year.
In an episode of the latest series of Suits, Rachel's on-screen husband Mike Ross, played by Patrick J Adams, was asked by another character how she is doing.
"If I told you how good, you probably wouldn't believe me," he replied.
In the show, Mike and Rachel had got married before moving to Seattle. Adams, who was among the Suits stars to attend the royal wedding, has also left the series, but returned as Mike for the final series.
Suits tweeted a clip of the episode, with the caption: "Turns out Rachel is doing REALLY well."
SpreakerViewers loved the line, with many fans commenting on social media.
"We know she's married to our UK prince charming," one Twitter user write.
