British scientist Natalie Christopher 'died instantly after falling from height' in Greece

Natalie Christopher, 35, was found dead in a 65ft (20m) deep ravine and a coroner has said she suffered a head injury.

A British woman died instantly after falling from a height on the Greek island of Ikaria, a coroner has said.
Natalie Christopher, 35, was found dead in a 65ft (20m) deep ravine on Wednesday.
Rescuers told Greece's state ERT TV that she appeared to have slipped and suffered fatal injuries while rock climbing.

Coroner Nikos Karakoukis, who travelled to the island from Athens, said the evidence from an initial assessment of the area where her body was found, was "consistent with a fall from a height".
He told reporters she suffered a head injury and died instantly and that her body is to be taken to a morgue in the Greek capital.
The Cyprus-based astrophysicist, who was a keen runner, was reported missing by her Cypriot partner on Monday.

He said she went for a run near the hotel they were staying at, where there are trails along steep cliffs.
Her disappearance prompted a huge campaign on social media with friends pleading for information on her whereabouts - and volunteers helped police and firefighters in the search.
